Drs. Jeffrey Ebersole and Linh Nguyen (both Dental) co-authored 鈥淕ingival Tissue Antibody Gene Utilization in Aging and Periodontitis,鈥 which published online ahead of print in Journal of Periodontal Research.
Drs. Tanya Al-Talib and Neamat Hassan (both Dental), along with School of Dental Medicine alumnus Kyle Cousineau, '22, co-authored 鈥淩etrospective Evaluation of the Prevalence of Diastema among an Adult Population,鈥 which published June 15 in Open Journal of Stomatology.
Karl Kingsley and Jasnena Mavi (both Dental) recently published "Analysis of a Pediatric Dental School Patient Population Revealed Increasing Trends of Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Patients: Implications for Pediatric Dental Public Health and Access to Care" in the journal Pediatric Reports.  
Dr. Tanya Al-Talib (Dental) co-presented 鈥淲hy Does Sleep Matter?鈥 during a student workshop of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine鈥檚 30th anniversary meeting. She provided a brief overview of normal sleep, discussed the anatomy and physiology of obstructive sleep apnea, and explained the co-morbid implications of untreated obstructive鈥

Dr. Moni Ahmadian (Dental) presented "An Unusually Expansile Nasopalatine Duct Cyst Mimicking a Nasolabial Cyst" as a poster during the 2022 American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology annual meeting. Nasopalatine duct cyst (NPDC) is the most common non-odontogenic developmental cyst of the jaw bone that arises in the midline anterior鈥
Dr. Sonal Shah and Dr. Jyoti Mago (both Dental) co-presented their poster, 鈥淭he Pivotal Role of Ultrasonography in Detecting Metastatic Head and Neck Cancers: A Review of Five Cases,鈥 during the American Academy of Oral Medicine National Annual Meeting last month. The study found ultrasonography has superior soft tissue spatial resolution compared鈥
