Special performances benefiting the Nevada Conservatory Theatre will be Nov. 8-9.

Puccini’s “Suor Angelica” and Hindemith’s “Sancta Susanna” to be performed in the Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall.

Concert is part of the Charles Vanda Master Series and features the ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Symphony Orchestra.

The concert is a joint collaboration between ���ӽ紫ý's departments of dance and music, with funding support from the vice president for research and the College of Fine Arts.

Catch the ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Ensemble I & the ���ӽ紫ý Latin Jazz Ensemble at 7:30 p.m, Oct. 15 in the Judy Bayley Theatre.

Part of the Chamber Music Series, the quartet performs 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in the Doc Rando Recital Hall of the Beam Music Center.

It will feature the ���ӽ紫ý Alumni Jazz Band, ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Ensemble I, and special guest Dennis Mackrel.

Part of ���ӽ紫ý music department's Chamber Music Series, the concert features faculty and guest musicians.

Four distinct series comprise the season: the acclaimed Charles Vanda Master Series, the Allegro Guitar Series at ���ӽ紫ý, the ���ӽ紫ý Performing Arts Center Series, and the ���ӽ紫ý Chamber Music Series, co-produced with the ���ӽ紫ý Department of Music.

The ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Program garnered five DownBeat Magazine Student Music Awards since 2010.
