Iris Martinez and Lisa Carnes (both Nursing) each received a $2,500 scholarship from the 性视界传媒 Alumni Association. The scholarships were made possible as a result professor Alona Angosta, director of the master of science - nursing program, receiving the 性视界传媒 Outstanding Faculty Award this year.

Kassie Moore (Career Services) was published in the 29th edition of Journal of Student Affairs for her research "Career Advising and Development in Community College: A Review of the Literature and Implications for Practice." Her findings will pave the way for future research projects as well as provide community colleges with a different鈥
Lynn Meadors (Career Services) has been awarded an Administrative Faculty Professional Development Grant by the office of faculty affairs. This competitive grant is given to administrative faculty to focus on professional development efforts as part of the Top Tier initiative. She will use the funds to assist with attaining the certified鈥
A number of 性视界传媒 communicators and other staff members received high marks from the Las Vegas Valley Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America during the recent Pinnacle Awards ceremony. The Las Vegas chapter sends the entries to judges outside the local market for evaluation to provide the most objective evaluation and determination of鈥
Amy Bouchard and Chad Warren (both Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement) were awarded the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Pinnacle Award for their work with the 性视界传媒 Alumni Association at a ceremony held this week. They won in the category for Tactics: Best Usage of Data/Analytics for the 性视界传媒 Alumni Attitude Survey鈥
The 性视界传媒 Student Alumni Association partnered with the Pack Shack to support the food insecurity needs of the campus community. Alumni and students teamed up and packed meals for those in need. More than 12,800 meals were packed by volunteers on Monday. All meals were delivered to the 性视界传媒 Food Pantry to help students and staff. Photos鈥
