Professor Patience Crowder (Law) is a speaker for “Clinic Design with Critical Theory” at the Association of American Law Schools’ (AALS) 2024 Conference on Clinical Legal Education.  

Professor Benjamin Edwards (Law) presented on “Real World Ethical Scenarios in Trusts and Estates Practice” at the 2024 Nevada Trust Conference.

Professor Kathy Stanchi (Law) was awarded the 2023 Penny Pether Award for Law and Language Scholarship for her article "The Rhetoric of Racism in the United States Supreme Court" published in the Boston College Law Review. 

Professor Rebecca Scharf (Law) was elected to the position of Chair-Elect of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Section on Defamation and Privacy. 

Nancy Rapoport (Law) served as the moderator for a panel discussion on "Preserving the Public Trust: The Need for Strict Adherence to the Code of Conduct for U.S. Judges, the Rules of Professional Conduct, and Other Ethical Principles" at the American Bankruptcy Institute's (ABI) Annual Spring Meeting in Washington D.C. 

Professor Nachman Gutowski (Law) was an invited participant at the AccessLex Building Bar Skills Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The conference centered around NextGen Bar Exam preparedness.

Professor Nancy Rapoport (Law) presented for Harvard Law School's Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency Seminar on her new project titled: “Am I My Colleague’s Keeper When It Comes to Disclosing Connections?".

Professor Marketa Trimble (Law) authored an encyclopedia entry on "Geoblocking" for the Elgar Encyclopedia of Intellectual Property Law. 

Professor Jean Sternlight (Law) was on a panel at the American Bar Association (ABA) Dispute Resolution Section's Annual Spring Conference in San Diego titled, “The Slow Professor: A Better Approach for Dispute Resolution Scholarship?”

Last week, Benjamin Edwards (Law) hosted the Midyear Meeting for the Public Investor Advocate Bar Association at ���ӽ紫ý. He moderated one panel on "Lies, Damn Lies, and FINRA Statistics" and spoke as a panelist on "AI, the SEC, and Changing Investor Landscape."
