Concert is part of the Charles Vanda Master Series and features the ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Symphony Orchestra.

The 48-Hour Short Film Contest runs Nov. 8-10 at ���ӽ紫ý. Entry deadline is Oct. 25.

The concert is a joint collaboration between ���ӽ紫ý's departments of dance and music, with funding support from the vice president for research and the College of Fine Arts.

Catch the ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Ensemble I & the ���ӽ紫ý Latin Jazz Ensemble at 7:30 p.m, Oct. 15 in the Judy Bayley Theatre.

The exhibit at the ���ӽ紫ý Marjorie Barrick Museum is in cooperation with the ���ӽ紫ý College of Fine Arts, the Japan Foundation, the Japan America Society of Nevada, and the Office of the Honorary Consulate of Japan.
