Dr. Jeffrey Ebersole co-authored 鈥淪alivary Biomarker Panel That Identifies Periodontitis in Persons With Type 2 Diabetes: A Secondary Analysis of a Cross-Sectional Study,鈥 which published Oct. 13 in Journal of Clinical Periodontology. The article reported a salivary panel using bacteria and ratios of host-response biomarkers accurately identified鈥

Dr. Jyoti Mago has been inducted into the scientific research honor society, Sigma Xi, which recognizes excellence in scientific research and encourages a sense of companionship and cooperation among scientists in all fields. Dr. Jeffrey Ebersole and Linh Nguyen (both Dental), along with colleagues from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, co-authored 鈥淪ex Effects on Early Life Features of the Gingival Transcriptome,鈥 which published in the journal, Frontiers in Dental Medicine.
