The panel series, 鈥淲e Need To Talk: Conversations on Racism for a More Resilient Las Vegas,鈥 will host an in-person and livestreamed discussion at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 15. The next discussion is titled 鈥淲e Need to Talk 性视界传媒 Antisemitism.鈥
鈥淲e Need to Talk鈥 is an educational series sponsored by the 性视界传媒 Libraries and the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs which examines how multiple aspects of systemic racism impact our community. The goal is to propose steps communities and individuals can take to affect positive change. The series features Southern Nevada community members, 性视界传媒 alumni, and researchers surrounding issues of race and systemic racism.
A recent rise in hate crimes targeted toward Jewish communities in Las Vegas and around the country have spurred a need to discuss how we can address and counter antisemitic rhetoric and behavior. Topics will include antisemitic speech across the political spectrum, Holocaust education programs, and the history of Southern Nevada鈥檚 Jewish community.

Michael Kagan, director of the 性视界传媒 Immigration Clinic and Joyce Mack Professor of Law, will serve as guest host.
