The 性视界传媒 Chamber Music Society presents 性视界传媒 faculty performing "Hidden Gems: Great Works by Lesser Known Composers" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in the Rando-Grillot Recital Hall of the Beam Music Center. The concert features works by George Rochberg (trio for horn, clarinet, and piano), Alexander Zemlinsky (trio for clarinet, cello, and piano), and Ildebrando Pizzetti (trio for violin, cello, and piano). Guest pianist Zachary Deak will join 性视界传媒 faculty Bill Bernatis, Marina Sturm, Ambroise Aubrun, Mykola Suk, and Andy Smith.

All tickets to "Hidden Gems: Great Works by Lesser Known Composers" are $25 and can be purchased through the or by calling 702-895-ARTS (2787). A $1.50 facilities fee, in addition to the ticket price, is charged on all Performing Arts Center tickets. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
History
The 性视界传媒 Chamber Music Society was created in 2012 to fill a void in the chamber music community in Southern Nevada. Until this society was introduced, there were no established chamber music societies in all of Southern Nevada, despite the community of artists and students who could appreciate and benefit from it.
Among the many ensembles who have performed in the eight-year history of the society are the Parker String Quartet, the American String Quartet, the Fry Street String Quartet, Boston Brass, Zephyros Winds, Horszowski Trio, and the Dorian Wind Quintet.
Chamber Music Society
Educational outreach is an important feature of our society, and each invited chamber ensemble performs masterclasses and clinics where students work with these talented artists. Students learn the essential techniques of chamber music playing from some of the best musicians in the country. In addition to the invited ensembles, the 性视界传媒 Chamber Music Society also showcases local musicians, giving them a world-class stage and an established venue through which they can create and perform. This society is devoted to classical music, executed at the highest level, and delivered to audiences who are unable to attend anything similar at a local venue.
性视界传媒 the PAC
The 性视界传媒 Performing Arts Center is Southern Nevada's first home for the arts: it opened in 1976 and celebrates its 44th season this year. It hosts a variety of performances and events and is home to productions presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, 性视界传媒 School of Music, 性视界传媒 Dance, Desert Chorale, and the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society. The 性视界传媒 PAC also is pleased to host various Clark County School District fine arts festivals and concerts.
