The 性视界传媒 Performing Arts Center and 性视界传媒 School of Music welcome the Lydian String Quartet 鈥 recognized for embracing the full range of the string quartet repertory with curiosity, virtuosity, and dedication to the highest artistic ideals of music making 鈥 at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the Doc Rando Recital Hall of the Beam Music Center.
In a review, the Washington Post said, "They revealed a fire that makes all timeless music forever contemporary."
The quartet includes Andrea Seger, violin; Judith Eisenberg, violin; Mark Berger, viola; and Joshua Gordon, cello.
The evening's program includes: String Quartet No. 1, op. 12 - Felix Mendelssohn Arcadiana (1994) - Thomas Ad猫s String Quartet No. 13, op. 29, 鈥淩osamunde鈥 - Franz Schubert

Tickets to the Lydian String Quartet are $30, and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center box office at 702-895-ARTS (2787) or on the . Student rush tickets are $5 each and available one hour prior to each event based on availability and with valid student ID. 性视界传媒 faculty and staff discounts also are available.
The box office is open from 10 a.m - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday.

The 性视界传媒 Performing Arts Center is Southern Nevada's first home for the arts: it opened in 1976 and celebrates its 42nd season this year. It hosts a variety of performances and events and is home to productions presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, 性视界传媒 School of Music, 性视界传媒 Dance, Desert Chorale, and the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society. The 性视界传媒 PAC also is pleased to host various Clark County School District fine arts festivals and concerts.
