Tourists coming to Las Vegas solely to drive fast cars such as Lamborghinis and Ferraris signals an emerging industry buoyed by Speed Vegas’ record expansion since a new ownership group took over Exotics Racing and merged the company in 2021.

The report said, despite the slim pickings of entry-level jobs, 2026 graduates are landing jobs faster than graduates last year, by applying for different types of roles and taking on different kinds of work to get their foot in the door of their careers.

As he walked outside the Thomas & Mack Center after Saturday morning’s ÐÔÊӽ紫ý spring commencement ceremony, new graduate Miguel Cerda said he felt pride and a sense of relief.

ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s newest graduates crossed the stage this spring with degrees in hand and a wide range of stories behind them. ÐÔÊӽ紫ý awarded more than 3,700 degrees during its spring 2026 commencement at the Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday.

The Class of 2026 includes graduates from 34 states and U.S. territories and 62 countries. Of the graduates, 87% are Nevada residents, with 67% coming from ethnically diverse backgrounds. Nearly half of all students are the first in their family to earn a degree.

Valley students learned how to take care of their bodies and minds while having some fun Friday. The Raiders and the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý School of Public Health hosted a flag football camp at the team’s headquarters in Henderson. It’s part of the RUSH program, or Raiders-ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Sports and Public Health. Two hundred students from three valley middle schools took part, learning about nutrition, mental health and physical health while also doing flag football drills.
