Michelle Voelkening, Gaby Rodriguez
Michele Voelkening, 鈥94 Communication Studies, and Gaby Rodriguez, 鈥14 Communication Studies, co-founded Las Vegas-based public relations and digital marketing agency The PMA Agency. Voelkening serves as president and managing partner. Rodriguez is vice president of public relations and community outreach. The agency鈥檚 clients include Connections Academy, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada and The Children鈥檚 Cabinet/First 5 Nevada.
Kurt Geyrozaga
Kurt Geyrozaga, 鈥18 BA Criminal Justice, is an imagery analyst in the Army National Guard supporting special operations forces missions and a federal civilian imagery analyst focused on peace-building efforts in the Indo-Pacific. He is the founder and president of Veterans in Emerging Technology and AI Governance (VET-AIG), a nonprofit focused on AI governance in national security, and serves on the Clark County Law Library Board of Trustees. He was recently admitted to Harvard Kennedy School鈥檚 MC/MPA program, class of 2027. He also writes and engages on defense policy, AI governance and veteran advocacy through LinkedIn and his nonprofit work, and informally assists fellow veterans and their families in navigating VA benefits and disability claims.
Juergen Barbusca
Juergen Barbusca, '84 BA German and '02 MPA, left a demanding corporate job for a yearlong gap year living in a camper van. In December 2025, he published a memoir of the experience, No Overnight Parking: A Year of Vanlife, Discovery, and the Open Road. Midwest Book Review called it 鈥渁n original, exceptional, and fascinating read from start to finish. As an author, Juergen Barbusca reveals a genuine flair for the kind of narrative-driven storytelling that keeps the reader eagerly engaged from cover to cover.鈥
Jose Orozco
Jose Orozco, '10 BA Criminal Justice and '24 EMBA, is an adjunct professor in 性视界传媒's Lee Business School. He is also the co-founder of Broches for a Cause LLC, a purpose-driven branding company, and the Orozco Siblings nonprofit, which he launched with his sister. Orozco's career began in international business with one of Ireland鈥檚 wealthiest families and later expanded into entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, and higher education. He focuses on building brands that combine strategy, service, and social impact, while mentoring students and investing in communities.
Katie Streit
Katie Streit, 鈥19 BA Journalism & Media Studies, works as a national correspondent for Spectrum News. She previously held a position as a general news reporter for Spectrum News 13 in Orlando. Streit continues to play tennis and travel. She鈥檚 training on walking the Camino de Santiago from Portugal to Spain.
Pj Perez
Pj Perez, '07 BA Journalism, joined Southern California Edison in June as senior manager of Integrated Communications Planning in the company's Rosemead, California office. He is in production on his second feature-length documentary film, Murdered on the Fourth of July, and recently produced a Las Vegas-based short film called Constant Hum, directed by 性视界传媒 alumna and film professor Roudi Boroumand.
