ÐÔÊӽ紫ý the VPSA
For almost 30 years, Dr. B. Keith Rogers has been affiliated with the University of Nevada Las Vegas (ÐÔÊӽ紫ý). In this role, he serves on the President’s cabinet and oversees a Division that collaborates with other units in the University community to encourage and enable students to be successful graduates, involved community members, and active learners both within and outside of the classroom. Through a variety of services and resources, such as housing, food, recreation, student government, student groups, health and well-being, basic needs and crisis services– the Division of Student Affairs promotes the success of students.
Rogers oversees over 30 different units within the division that employs roughly 300 full time employees, and over 1,000 student employees. Rogers develops and oversees numerous initiatives to enhance students’ sense of belonging, well-being, and creating pathways for student success. Rogers, alongside his Cabinet, ensures co-curricular engagement programs and services that improve academic achievement, student learning, health and well-being, safety, personal development, and community building– a true, comprehensive student experience.
Before assuming his current position, Rogers served as deputy executive director of ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s Dr. William Sullivan Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach (CAEO), which, during his tenure, offered the nation’s largest portfolio of TRIO and GEAR UP programs. A U.S. Army veteran and proud alumnus of ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s Student Support Services program, Rogers earned his Doctorate in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, along with an MBA and BS from ÐÔÊӽ紫ý.
