The purpose of this scholarship is to advance and improve public health in Nevada; the scholarship will be awarded to a student who is pursuing a graduate degree in the School. The scholarship will first be applied to any tuition balance the student may have; and any remaining funds shall be distributed to the student as a monetary award.

Recipients may reapply for this scholarship in subsequent years, provided they maintain the scholarship criteria and remain in good standing with the institution. Any Change of Conditions to this document reference the policies of the Board of Regents of the NSHE, the University.

The candidate(s) shall be selected by the School of Public Health (Scholarship Committee) from among those applying through Financial Aid and Scholarships (Office). If the Scholarship Committee fails to determine an eligible candidate(s) for the scholarship(s), the Office shall make such determination. The Office shall administer the funding of the annual Stacy Darling Scholarship.

The Stacy Darling Scholarship shall be awarded to a student(s) meeting the following criteria

  1. Student must be admitted to 性视界传媒;
  2. Student must complete a 性视界传媒 Scholarship Application each year they wish to be considered for the scholarship;
  3. Student must be pursuing a graduate degree in the School of Public Health; and
  4. Student must have at least a 3.0 graduate cumulative 性视界传媒 grade point average.

Application Process

Students should submit the following application materials (no more than 1 page total) by email to scholarships.sph@unlv.edu no later than March 4, 2026:

  • A summary of the proposed research project, specifically what the funding will be used for (note: there are no restrictions)
  • Name and number of 性视界传媒 advisor that will be contacted
  • Email subject line should contain 鈥淟AST NAME and AWARD being applied to鈥

The awards will be given at the School of Public Health Honors Ceremony. Attendance is required.

Award Stipulations

Recipients of the Stacey Darling Scholarship grant(s) 性视界传媒 the right to publish their name and use the applicant鈥檚 likeness in a photograph in any and all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration. These materials will become the property of 性视界传媒 and will not be returned. Recipients grant(s) 性视界传媒 the authority to edit, alter, copy, publish or distribute this photo for purpose of publicizing 性视界传媒鈥檚 programs or for any other lawful purpose.
