Biography
Dr. Tony Terrell is a three-time graduate of ÐÔÊӽ紫ý (B.A.’02, M.Ed.’07, Ph.D.’12), ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Athletics Hall of Famer, and Rebel Pride Ambassador. He has been a higher education professional for 15 years at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý and Nevada resident for over 18 years. His employment history at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý is unique and centered around student learning, service, and advancement. Working with students as an admissions/recruitment counselor, academic advisor, professor, and administrator gives him a comprehensive understanding of the student experience and ability to educate them from matriculation to graduation. In 2015, he received the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Academic Advisor of the Year Award. He has taught 100-level, 300/400-level, First-Year Seminar, and Culminating Experience courses as a part-time instructor and faculty-in-residence for over 8 years at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý. The southern California native has mentored countless ÐÔÊӽ紫ý students. As a former student-athlete and alumnus, he takes pride in his alma mater and loves to show it on campus, in the community, and at athletic events.
