Originally from Victorville, CA, Christopher J. Edwards is a three-time ÐÔÊӽ紫ý graduate with two bachelor’s degrees in communication studies and African American & African Diaspora studies, and a master of public administration. He spent 11 years in Los Angeles building a global career as a professional dancer and choreographer, performing, teaching, and judging competitions across countries like China, Norway, Mexico, and Thailand. He’s been featured on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew and worked alongside artists such as Omarion. Since moving to Las Vegas in 2016 and returning to school in 2018, Christopher has dedicated himself to creating student-centered spaces of empowerment, representation, and growth. He brings that same passion and energy to advising—meeting students where they are, helping them feel seen, and guiding them toward what’s possible. A lifelong lover of music and the arts, Christopher finds joy in attending concerts, local jam sessions, and supporting all forms of creative expression. He joined the Wilson Advising Center in June 2025.
