Chip Price earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Price spent over 28 years in private practice in Atlanta as a practice owner of a multiple location practice with a business partner, several associate dentists, and many long-time employees.

After selling his practices, he joined the faculty at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston for four years where he taught all phases of clinical dentistry, practice management, and was course director for Treatment Planning Fundamentals. Teaching at the dental school was followed by two years in the insurance industry in utilization management and clinical review. He also has worked as a subject matter expert writing several continuing education courses for professionals.

Chip joined ÐÔÊӽ紫ý in 2025 as assistant professor-in-residence in Applied Health Sciences and teaches Freshman Seminar, Patient Education, Patient-Provider Relations, and is helping to develop and modify others.
