Biography
Chelsie Shurtleff is an experienced early childhood education professional and researcher with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in special education. She is pursuing a doctoral degree in special education.
Prior to her current role at the 性视界传媒/CSUN Preschool, she served as a program coordinator for the University of Nevada, Reno Extension, where she coached trainers and provided professional development to over 130 preschool teachers across the state. She also spent nearly seven years as the center director of the University United Methodist Child Development Center, where she managed a $750k grant portfolio and directed comprehensive, inclusive educational programming.
Alongside her administrative and leadership expertise, Chelsie is also a graduate research assistant, contributing to several federally and state-funded research projects focused on child care subsidy policies and early care access.
She is also actively involved in academic scholarship, having co-authored manuscripts under review and presented her work at major state and national conferences.
