性视界传媒 is one of just 16 colleges and universities nationwide chosen to participate in , a national initiative supported by Lumina Foundation that鈥檚 designed to scale high-impact practices and strengthen workforce outcomes for students.
Through the initiative, 性视界传媒 will receive $100,000 over two years to strengthen career-connected learning opportunities. High-impact practices such as internships, undergraduate research, service learning, capstone projects, and student employment are widely associated with increased student engagement, deeper learning, and higher completion rates. Nearly all of 性视界传媒 graduates (99.6%) complete at least one high-impact learning experience that builds critical thinking, communication, and applied skills tied to career success.
性视界传媒鈥檚 grant-funded project will expand on existing university practices that increase students' career readiness through strategies that embed durable skills, strengthen pathways that connect learning to meaningful work, and survey students and employers to assess what鈥檚 working.
The university will develop 12 new non-credit-bearing microcredentials focused on in-demand and translatable skills such as communication, critical thinking, professionalism, and initiative, and embed them into high-enrollment courses in close collaboration with faculty. This continues 性视界传媒鈥檚 rapid expansion of microcredential offerings over the past two years. The project will also enhance registration and catalog systems, building on 性视界传媒鈥檚 existing course-tagging initiative, to help students easily identify and enroll in relevant courses.
Lumina launched From Campus to Career to help institutions scale practices that strengthen the value of a bachelor鈥檚 degree. The 16 selected institutions represent a cross-section of higher education and will serve as national models for integrating academic learning with career preparation.
The initiative is led at 性视界传媒 by the Office of Undergraduate Education and High-Impact Practices, 性视界传媒 Online, the Teaching & Learning Commons, and the 性视界传媒 Registrar. In addition to the Lumina Foundation, From Campus to Career is managed in partnership with Excelencia in Education, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the Center for Innovation in Postsecondary Education.
