Signature Homes Down Payment Assistance Program Informational Session June 9

Signature Homes and the Nevada Housing Division have launched a new affordable housing incentive program designed to make homeownership more attainable for Nevadans.

The Down Payment Assistance Program offers qualified homebuyers up to $55,000 toward the purchase of a new home at , located near Desert Inn Rd. and Eastern Ave. — 15 minutes from the Maryland Campus.

The program includes:

  • Up to $27,500 in down payment assistance through AB 540
  • Up to $27,500 in builder incentives
  • Potential for $0 down at closing
  • Monthly payments starting as low as $2,066

Faculty, staff, and students interested in the program can  on Tuesday, June 9, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. to hear additional details and ask questions. Registration is required.

Eligibility Requirements

  • No first-time homebuyer requirement
  • Nevada residency for at least six months (may be waived for essential workers relocating to Nevada)
  • Home must serve as the borrower’s primary residence
  • Household income up to 150% AMI ($142,350)
  • Completion of a two-hour online homebuyer education course before closing
  • Financing through New American Funding
  • Applicants cannot be previous recipients of the Home Is Possible or Worker Advantage programs
