The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at 性视界传媒 is a member-driven learning community of more than 1,100 adults ages 50 and over. Members continue a lifetime of learning through engaging classes, special events, shared interest groups, and activities shaped by curiosity, connection, and life experiences. With no education requirements, OLLI welcomes people from all backgrounds who want to learn, share, and build community.

A Wellness Corral will be hosted by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at 性视界传媒, where attendees can explore activities such as ukulele lessons, Mahjong, art tables, and puzzle and board game strategies.

No, not the kind of seniors that are fourth-year students at 性视界传媒, but rather retired and semi-retired people in the Las Vegas Valley who don鈥檛 believe that learning stops when life鈥檚 twilight years begin.

Recent Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Accomplishments

Asma Awan (Social and Behavioral Health), Robert S Levrant (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute), and Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health) have recently published a study titled, "Prologue to the Multi-Theory Model (MTM) of Health Behavior Change: A Phenomenological Case Study to Determine Vaping Cessation Strategies Among Young Adults," in鈥
Asma Awan (Social and Behavioral Health), Rob Levrant (Educational Outreach and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute),  and Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health) presented at the Lumivero Virtual Conference 2024 on September 25. The presentation was titled: "Determining Vaping Cessation (Quitting) Intervention Strategies among Young鈥
Rob Levrant (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) spoke on an expert panel at the 2022 Osher Institutes National Conference, "What You Really Need to Know to Ask for Money in Person." His portion of the presentation focused on the nexus between fundraising and community-building in the context of a membership-based lifelong learning community.
Rob Levrant (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) and Ana Paula Loures-Elias (Educational Psychology) co-presented a lecture session at the 2021 Conference on Academic Research in Education. Robert Levrant and Toniann DeSousa (both Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) presented "Enhancing the Volunteer Experience to Meet Programmatic Outcomes" at the 2019 Southern Regional Conference on Learning in Retirement in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Takashi Yamashita, Erick L贸pez, Marta Soligo, and Jennifer Keene (all Sociology) and graduate students in the department collaborated with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at 性视界传媒, and conducted a project on the attitudes toward volunteering among the OLLI participants.
