ÐÔÊӽ紫ý has signed a five-year, $11 million jersey patch sponsorship deal with Las Vegas-based Acesso Biologics, the university announced Monday.

The ÐÔÊӽ紫ý football program received a significant financial boost this week with a $1 million donation from the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Rebel Football Foundation to enhance nutritional support for student-athletes, the university announced this morning.

The donation comes from the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Rebel Football Foundation, a nonprofit that serves to promote the team's growth via capital improvements and financial support.

As Clark County schools prepare to reopen, student-athletes across Las Vegas are getting ready for another year of balancing academics and sports.

Part of the deal of building Allegiant Stadium and securing public funding for a portion of its cost was to provide a new home for ÐÔÊӽ紫ý football, as the Rebels looked to move on from the aging Sam Boyd Stadium. With little success on the field historically for the Rebels, having a new NFL-level stadium to go along with the on-campus Fertitta Football Center training facility, the university hoped the program’s status in college football could improve along with the new facilities. It took a few seasons, but ÐÔÊӽ紫ý began to see the program shift dramatically, leading to historic seasons in 2023 and 2024.

In the high-stakes world of college athletics, victories on the field often overshadow those in the classroom. But at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý, a quiet revolution is taking place that deserves applause from every corner of the valley. In the spring 2025 semester, ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s athletic department posted a record-breaking 3.36 cumulative GPA, its highest ever. It marks the 16th consecutive semester that ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s student-athletes have achieved a department-wide GPA of 3.0 or higher.

ÐÔÊӽ紫ý student-athletes tallied a record 16th consecutive semester with a 3.0 grade point average or higher, the Athletics Department announced Thursday. The department achieved a record 3.36 cumulative GPA following the Spring 2025 semester, along with a 3.34 semester GPA, which marks its second-highest ever.
