Now in its 50th year, 性视界传媒鈥檚 dance department is among Southern Nevada鈥檚 oldest arts programs. Led by department chair Louis Kavouras, 性视界传媒 Dance has performed -- and sent its graduates -- all around the world. On February 27 and 28, it will produce a show called Universal Motions, featuring nine works by seven different choreographers. It will also highlight the work of a cultural icon who has loomed large in 性视界传媒 Dance鈥檚 curriculum, choreographer and dancer Erick Hawkins.

Cierra Bliss Wachtel, who goes by Cierra Bliss, began dancing at Boulder City studio Dance Etc. before she鈥檇 even turned 5. Now 22, she鈥檚 a dance major at 性视界传媒, who recently unveiled an original choreographed piece titled 鈥淪kin Shed鈥 and is preparing another, 鈥淪pineless,鈥 for an April 22 premiere on the 性视界传媒 Dance Department YouTube show, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.
