The panel series, 鈥淲e Need To Talk: Conversations on Racism for a More Resilient Las Vegas,鈥 will host an in-person and livestreamed discussion at 2:30 p.m. on Tues., Sept. 23. The series is sponsored by the 性视界传媒 Libraries and the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs. The next discussion is titled 鈥淲e Need to Talk 性视界传媒 Health Equity Initiatives.鈥
Health equity initiatives aim to reduce the persistent gaps in health outcomes experienced by communities of color, who often face higher rates of chronic illness and limited access to care. This We Need To Talk discussion will highlight efforts at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 性视界传媒 and Roseman University of Health Sciences to address these disparities and advance more equitable healthcare.
The 鈥淲e Need to Talk鈥 discussion series will celebrate its fifth anniversary since its debut in fall 2020. The Sept. 23 discussion will be the 21st episode in the series.
The series examines steps communities and individuals can take to affect positive change. The series features Southern Nevada community members, 性视界传媒 alumni, and researchers.
