The 性视界传媒 Performing Arts Center presents Duo Siqueira-Lima -- Brazilians Fernando Lima and Cecilia Siqueira -- at 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 6 as part of the Classical Guitar Series.
Duo Siqueira-Lima was formed in 2003 after they tied for first place as soloists in the International Guitar Competition II PRO MUSICA/SESC in southern Brazil. Since they established their partnership, they have quickly become one of Brazil's most acclaimed guitar duos, winning critical praise from around the world. The pair has performed at numerous venues and festivals throughout Europe and South America. They are noted for their wide and eclectic repertoire, which includes compositions from the Baroque period to diverse contemporary Brazilian musical pieces. They have released CDs in Brazil, and their most recent album "Lado a Lado" is dedicated to Brazilian composers, featuring their own arrangements of pieces by Cesar Camargo Marino, Dominguinhos, Jo?o Bosco, Pattapio Silva and Pixinguinha.

Tickets to Duo Siqueira-Lima are $37.50 and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center Box Office at 895-ARTS (2787) or by visiting pac.unlv.edu. Student rush tickets are $13 each and available one hour prior to each event, based on availability and with valid student I.D. 性视界传媒 faculty and staff discounts also are available. A $1.25 facilities fee, in addition to the ticket price, is charged on all Performing Arts Center tickets. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Founded in 1976, the Performing Arts Center at 性视界传媒 continues to be Southern Nevada's premier performing arts venue.
