Earvin "Magic" Johnson, who had been scheduled to speak at 性视界传媒 on Dec. 1, has canceled his appearance, citing scheduling conflicts, according to David Turner of 性视界传媒's student government.
Johnson was to have been the featured speaker for 性视界传媒's observance of World AIDS Day.
Johnson is the former Los Angeles Laker basketball star who retired in 1991 after disclosing that he had contracted HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
