Biography

Craig Hennigan is the interim director of ���ӽ紫ý’s nationally recognized and award-winning debate team, ranked among the best in the nation for several years. His research interests include how we rhetorically construct what it means to be an urban citizen and argument theory. 

Prior to ���ӽ紫ý, Hennigan worked on a presidential campaign as a midwest regional director of volunteers. Additionally, Hennigan — who also serves as a lecturer within ���ӽ紫ý's Department of Communication Studies — has coached debate teams across the country from Detroit to Missouri. He has demonstrated success at coaching students to become nationally recognized for their skill in argument, with many of them going on to careers in law or politics.
