Concert to feature ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Ensemble I, Ben Vereen, Pia Zadora, The Cunnighams, and more.

Mak Grgic performs 8 p.m. Nov.19 in the Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall as part of the Allegro Guitar Series at ���ӽ紫ý.

Special performances benefiting the Nevada Conservatory Theatre will be Nov. 8-9.

Puccini’s “Suor Angelica” and Hindemith’s “Sancta Susanna” to be performed in the Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall.

Performances Nov. 7-10 are in the ���ӽ紫ý Black Box Theatre, and performances Nov. 14-17 are at Cockroach Theatre, 1025 S. First St.

Concert is part of the Charles Vanda Master Series and features the ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Symphony Orchestra.

The 48-Hour Short Film Contest runs Nov. 8-10 at ���ӽ紫ý. Entry deadline is Oct. 25.

The concert is a joint collaboration between ���ӽ紫ý's departments of dance and music, with funding support from the vice president for research and the College of Fine Arts.

Catch the ���ӽ紫ý Jazz Ensemble I & the ���ӽ紫ý Latin Jazz Ensemble at 7:30 p.m, Oct. 15 in the Judy Bayley Theatre.
