Valentine鈥檚 Day may be over, but sharing sweets continues on campus.
In the spirit of Rebel Random Acts of Kindness month (#RebelRAK), at The Cosmopolitan descended upon 性视界传媒 on Feb. 22 to share baskets upon baskets of cookies with students, faculty, and well鈥 anyone with a hankering for a cookie. Milk Bar opened last month in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
But how did 性视界传媒 end up as the target for this carefully orchestrated cookie bomb? It was a no-brainer, said Harrah Hotel College student and Milk Bar pastry sous chef Casey Shea. 鈥淭he Milk Bar team wanted to get more acquainted with the Las Vegas area, so we decided that 性视界传媒 was a great place to do it,鈥 said Shea, who helped organize the Milk Bar booth on campus and arrange for the cookie delivery.
As a former employee at Milk Bar鈥檚 New York location, Shea was excited to learn that a shop was opening up in town. 鈥淚 transferred to 性视界传媒 to finish my bachelor鈥檚 degree,鈥 she said, 鈥渁nd when I heard Milk Bar was coming to Vegas, I jumped at the opportunity to join the team again.鈥
Shea鈥檚 influence in selecting 性视界传媒 was a definite factor, but having numerous 性视界传媒 alumni in upper management positions 鈥 like The Cosmopolitan President Bill McBeath, 鈥86 BS Hotel Administration, and Colleen Birch, 鈥99 BS Hotel Administration, senior vice president 鈥 certainly didn鈥檛 hurt. She made the cookie bomb happen after quick phone call with Harrah Hotel College Dean Stowe Shoemaker.
鈥淲e thought it would be fun for the campus community but also a great opportunity for Milk Bar to engage with 性视界传媒,鈥 said Birch.
Hundreds of cookie-bombed 性视界传媒 students and staff agree.
