Recent 性视界传媒 William S. Boyd School of Law graduates surpassed others who took the July 2015 Nevada Bar Exam, according to results recently released by the State Bar of Nevada.
Among the results, 75 percent of Boyd School of Law graduates who took the Nevada Bar Exam for the first time passed the test. Statewide, 69 percent of those who took the exam for the first time passed.
鈥淭hese numbers are strong and reflect the outstanding work of our Academic Success Program and our excellent faculty,鈥 said Boyd School of Law Dean Daniel Hamilton. 鈥淏oyd works hard to make sure our students are prepared to do well on the exam and to enter the legal profession.鈥
The Boyd School of Law鈥檚 Academic Success Program is credited with helping students and alumni prepare for the bar exam through workshops, mock exams, and individual counseling sessions.
鈥淣evada鈥檚 bar exam is widely regarded as one of the most difficult state bar exams, making these results all the more meaningful. This is especially true this year, when bar passage rates have fallen nationwide,鈥 said Jennifer Carr, director of the Academic Success Program. 鈥淏oyd鈥檚 Academic Success Program is designed to equip students with the information and skills they鈥檒l need to pass the bar exam. We provide individualized feedback and preparation commercial bar providers don鈥檛.鈥
In other results, 69 percent of all Boyd School of Law graduates who took the July exam, including first-time and repeat takers, passed the test. Statewide, 60 percent of those who took the July exam, including first-time and repeat takers, passed.
The Nevada bar is a three-day exam consisting of several essay questions, two Performance Test (MPT) problems, and a Multistate Bar Examination (MBE). The successful applicant must achieve a total score of 75 on the exam as a whole, as well as pass at least three essays with a score of 75. The William S.
