Samantha Godbey (Libraries) is the recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Library Faculty Service Award. Godbey is active in service and leadership opportunities both nationally and at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý. She served as the Libraries’ senior senator on the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Faculty Senate, vice-chair and chair of the Association of College & Research Libraries’ Education and Behavioral Sciences Section (EBSS), and chair of the EBSS Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Task Force. She was also a member of the ACRL Instruction Section Inclusive Pedagogy Committee and served as the education subject editor for Resources for College Libraries, a list of core titles for undergraduate study.
