The Nevada Taxpayers Association (NTA) voted to welcome Constance Brooks Johnson (Government and Community Engagement) to its Board of Directors. Her appointment is for a three-year term, ending Dec. 31, 2028.
As a member of the NTA Board of Directors, Brooks Johnson will play a vital role in shaping the organization鈥檚 work and establishing fiscal policies.
Established in 1922, the NTA is one of the oldest research and advocacy organizations. The statewide non-profit 501(c)(4) is a non-partisan organization supported by a diverse membership base, including businesses of all sizes, individuals, associations, and governmental entities.
NTA goals are to:
- Develop and promote sound fiscal policies that support Nevada鈥檚 economic well-being.
- Foster a user-friendly environment for all Nevadans.
- Ensure efficiency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility in Nevada鈥檚 state and local governments.
