Aude Picard (Life Sciences) and Cheyenne Brokaw (Law) and master's student Patrice Boyd (English) recently published a research article in the journal Geobiology, titled: "." In this project, funded by NSF EPSCoR, the team explored the strategies bacteria use to avoid being entombed in minerals. Brokaw and Boyd were undergraduate researchers prior to the article's publication.
