Description
Slow Art Day is a worldwide movement that takes place annually in museums, galleries, artist studios, and any other venue where art can be found. It supports people who want to intensify their experience of the visual world by paying attention to artworks slowly and deeply.
If that sounds like you, then join our 2026 Slow Art Day workshop on Saturday, April 11. Participants will be invited to engage in slow-looking exercises with artworks by contemporary artists from around the world鈥攊ncluding Jackie Am茅zquita, Amy Elkins, Ana Mendieta, Sayan Chanda, Zarina Muhummad, Eric-Paul Riege, and more鈥攂efore taking part in a guided group discussion about their experience.

Slow Art Day 2026 will take place in the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art from 1鈥3 p.m., Saturday, April 11. Participation is free and open to everyone. No reservation is required. Parking on the 性视界传媒 campus near the museum is free on weekends.
