Josie Libero (PhD candidate, Koury group) is the proud recipient of the Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship aka the fellowship. The fellowship nuclear nonproliferation leadership development program the "is tailored for the next generation of scientific leaders who will push the boundaries of science in service of the National Nuclear Security Administration鈥檚 (NNSA) nonproliferation mission". As a fellow, Josie will be stationed at Lawrence Berkely National Laboratory and lead independent research focused on actinide metallurgy.
