Open enrollment for the Public Employees Benefits Program (PEBP) health coverage and Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) voluntary benefits takes place until May 31. Please note that May 30 is a Saturday and May 31 is a Sunday. PEBP and 性视界传媒 benefits representatives will not be available to answer questions on those days. Please reach out on or before May 29. All changes for Plan Year 2027 will be effective July 1. See below for details.
PEBP Open Enrollment
During open enrollment, you can:
- Change your PEBP healthcare plan
- Change your coverage tier
- Enroll in the Health Savings Account (only available under the CDHP-PPO plan)
- Switch from the CDHP HRA to the CDHP HSA (if eligible) or vice versa
- Add or remove dependent(s)
- Elect or decline voluntary benefits
- Change employee HSA contribution (anytime)
- Change beneficiary designation (anytime)
To complete PEBP open enrollment, participants must make changes through the by May 31 and submit supporting documents by June 15. Requests or documents submitted after the deadlines will not be accepted and changes cannot be made until the next open enrollment period or the occurrence of a qualifying life event.
Participants are not required to complete an open enrollment election to remain on their current PEBP group health insurance plan and coverage tier.

NSHE Open Enrollment
NSHE Open enrollment elections must be completed in by May 31.
During NSHE open enrollment, you can:
- Enroll in or cancel your ASIFlex flexible spending account
- Medical Flexible Spending Account
- Limited Scope Flexible Spending Account
- Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
- Enroll in or cancel your prepaid legal plan through MetLife Legal Services
